Nestlé takes seriously all allegations of non-compliance with the WHO Code and we wish to learn of all concerns regarding our marketing practices in order to correct mistakes or better inform our partners. One of our commitments to respecting the WHO Code is to investigate and respond to allegations of non-compliance.
We rely on stakeholders and the general public to directly communicate in detail any allegation of non-compliance with the WHO Code. If you have witnessed a possible violation of the WHO Code by Nestlé, you can alert us through our Complaint Form.
In 2004 and 2007, the International Baby Food Action Network (IBFAN) published a report containing allegations of non-compliance with the WHO Code by the major infant food manufacturers. You will find the details of our investigations in the following reports:
In addition, we publish an annual external report outlining Nestlé's compliance with the WHO Code and the Nestlé Policy and Instructions for the implementation of the Code. The report outlines and responds to allegations on WHO Code contraventions coming from internal as well as external sources.
